Research in the department of pharmaceutics encompasses studies in pharmacokinetics, quantitative pharmacology, pharmacometrics, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical biotechnology and drug delivery.

We are a highly collaborative department engaged in preclinical research that encompasses molecular analysis, integrated pharmacology and physiology, behavioral models, and drug development.
Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research
The Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research (PTR) has a variety of ongoing research projects including drug response, drug-drug interactions, drug transporters and drug metabolism enzymes, cancer and various disease states.
