UF Health Distance Education Support Services leverages experts in their fields to help build a successful distance education program. DESS primarily supports entrepreneurial programs in the six academic colleges at UF Health, acting as a program incubator and providing proven approaches to create and maintain a successful and sustainable program. DESS can work with you to review your current content, outline educational goals and set up distance learning infrastructure to make course management easy.
Creative Works is an official UF auxiliary business unit that specializes in content development and logistics management for continuing education and online programs. Creative Works employs a talented staff of instructional designers, project managers, scriptwriters, web developers, enrollment marketers and multimedia producers capable of creating exceptional digital outreach and online course content. The unit’s goal is to work hand-in-hand with other departments to become production partners by filling gaps in staffing, expertise and resources.
