Pride Month Celebration

The University of Florida College of Pharmacy celebrates Pride Month every June in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. The activities and events scheduled showcase the pride we all share in standing in solidarity and support of our brothers and sisters in the LGBTQ+ community.

JUNE 14, 6-7 p.m.

gendeRx: The Pharmacist’s Role in Caring for Transgender Patients

A presentation by Dr. Sam Miller from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation | This event is being co-sponsored by the UF College of Pharmacy Office of Continuing Pharmacy Education | Continuing Pharmacy Education credit is available

June 21, 6-7 p.m.

COP & Proud: Reflections on being LGBTQ Then & Now at the College of Pharmacy

Panel discussion featuring: Drs. April Barbor, Michael Finnick and Rafael Sanchez

1 hour of ACPE continuing education for pharmacists is available for the June 14 event. The University of Florida College of Pharmacy will report continuing education credit to CPE Monitor within 60 days following the activity. For pharmacists registered in Florida, credit will also be reported to CE Broker. The University of Florida is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
