Event Details
The College of Pharmacy Research Showcase offers an opportunity for students and postdoctoral trainees to present their latest research to the university community. This event aims to highlight the research projects being conducted across the five concentrations and foster meaningful connections between students, faculty, and collaborators. Participants will sharpen their communication and presentation skills, discuss new ideas, and create interdisciplinary partnerships to lead to future collaboration. Join us as we celebrate the noteworthy research achievements across our college!
The 39th Annual Research Showcase will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 in the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom.

Research Presentations
All participants must be actively enrolled and/or employed at the University of Florida at the time of the event.
All presentation submissions must include a research abstract. Abstracts are limited to 1800 characters, including spaces, and must be in paragraph form. Do not include keywords or headings in your abstract.
Oral Competition
COP graduate students and postdoctoral trainees are encouraged to participate in the Oral Competition by submitting an abstract for consideration. Selected finalists will present their talk in a 10-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute question/answer period, and the winner in each division will be selected by a panel of judges. All oral presenters will receive a certificate and monetary award for their participation.

Poster Competition
The poster competition is open to all College of Pharmacy students and postdoctoral trainees. Participants will present their posters to attendees throughout the morning. A panel of 2-3 faculty judges will visit each poster and rate the presentation. The winner of each category will receive a certificate and monetary award.
Poster Requirements
- Posters must be approved by the faculty advisor/PI before printing.
- The Research Showcase does not require a specific template or poster size. Generally, posters are printed 36 inches tall by 48 inches wide. COP Academic Poster Templates can be found here.
- Posters can be printed on-campus through the GatorPrint office.
Tips for Presenting a Research Poster
- Your research poster should be organized, concise, and visually appealing.
- Poster presentations should be limited to under 5 minutes, with a 2-3 minutes for questions and answers.
- When describing your work, focus on providing an overview to your audience, rather than intricate details. Highlight your research aims and significance.
- Be prepared to respond to questions such as “Tell me about your research,” and anticipate inquiries from faculty judges and peers. Planning ahead will help you effectively communicate your findings and engage your audience.
