38th Annual Research Showcase

Welcome from the dean
Peter W. Swaan, Ph.D., M.Pharm.
Dean and Professor, UF College of Pharmacy
Welcome to the University of Florida College of Pharmacy’s 38th Annual Research Showcase! This signature event remains one of our most anticipated and impactful, providing a platform for our students and trainees to present their research, engage with colleagues, and receive invaluable feedback.
As the event has grown in both size and significance, we have implemented thoughtful changes this year to improve the experience. We are thrilled to host the event at the Reitz Union, offering a more spacious venue for all attendees. Additionally, we have transitioned back to a one-day format, where all the poster and oral sessions will be featured on the same day. These updates ensure the event continues to grow while maintaining its tradition of excellence.
Our commitment to advancing research is reflected not only in this showcase but also in the national recognition the UF College of Pharmacy has earned. We are honored to be ranked among the top three research-funded pharmacy colleges nationally by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and The Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research. This achievement reflects the dedication and efforts of our students and trainees. We congratulate all those presenting today and express our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors and faculty for their continued support.
