Debbie L Wilson

Debbie L. Wilson (pronounced /ˈdɛ.bi ɛl ˈwɪl.sən/), PhD, RN, is a registered nurse at UF Health. She earned a BA in French from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and later earned an MA in Linguistics, a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a BSN from the University of Florida. She completed a 3-year VA Health Services Research & Development (HSR&D) postdoctoral fellowship in outcomes research, taught and mentored undergraduate, graduate and professional students, and contributed to multidisciplinary health outcomes research. Her scholarly work includes participation in 16 funded research projects totaling more than $8.7 million, service as Principal Investigator or co-Principal Investigator on five projects, 63 peer-reviewed publications (11 as first or senior author), and more than 100 podium and poster presentations at international, national, regional, and local scientific conferences.
