About Leah Wheat

Leah Wheat, PharmD, is a clinical lecturer in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She also practices as a clinical pharmacist providing medication therapy management (MTM) services to patients and training students and residents in the Center for Quality Medication Management (CQM) at UF (Lake Nona campus). She earned her PharmD in 2017 from the University of South Florida College of Pharmacy in Tampa and subsequently completed a PGY1 Residency in 2018 focusing on MTM and geriatrics at CQM. Dr. Wheat enjoys empowering her patients to better understand their health and medications and helping them overcome any barriers they may face to medication adherence.
