Morgan D Fortson,

Morgan graduated from Santa Fe College with an Associate of Arts degree in pharmacy and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in health service administration. She started working at Publix in May 2006 and became a pharmacy technician for Publix Pharmacy in November of 2007 and recently retired in September 2017. While at Publix she became certified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and received a license from the State of Florida Board of Pharmacy. Morgan began working for the COP CQM April 27, 2015. After starting at the CQM she learned she wanted to grow within the center. She was given the opportunity to become lead clinical associate May 5, 2016. While working at CQM Morgan wanted to continue expanding her education so she began to take HIM(Health Information Management) classes and through one of her professional practice experiences (PPE) she found the Trauma Registry! After many months of thinking about the Trauma Registrar position she finally applied and is currently working in the Trauma Services department as a Registrar!
