About Jennifer Salo

Dr. Jennifer Salo is the Director of Quality and Program Performance for the Center for Quality Medication Management (CQM) at the University of Florida. In this role, Dr. Salo oversees the overall operations for CQM as well as the quality and compliance program. She is responsible for ensuring that the staff meet and exceed contractual obligations. Dr. Salo works directly with clients to coordinate and communicate goals and expectations. Dr. Salo is also leads the team for clinical product development at CQM and is dedicated to ensuring that CQM is able to bring new and innovative service offerings to potential customers. Dr. Salo was formerly the Director of the Master of Science in Pharmacy with concentration in Medication Therapy Management degree program. In that role, she was responsible for the creation of a graduate certificate program in MTM as well as precepting up to four courses each semester. Previous roles held by Dr. Salo at the CQM include Director of Operations, Assistant Director of Operations, Student Development & Training Specialist, and Senior Clinical Pharmacist. Dr. Salo is no stranger to medication management, she has been with CQM since 2011 and spent five years as a clinical pharmacist and a student preceptor. Dr. Salo received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Salo is also a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist. Dr. Salo is interested in the field of Health Informatics and she earned a Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics from USF in 2021. She is on track to obtain her Master’s degree in Health Informatics in 2022.
