About Guenther Hochhaus

Hochhaus evaluates anti-asthma drugs in the body (pharmacokinetics) to understand the relationship between the drug properties and the pharmacodynamic effects. His work linking pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic approaches with a rational drug delivery design has proven to be a powerful tool in streamlining drug development for inhalation drugs. To provide a strong research program in pharmaceutics and actively seek outside support; to participate in teaching and education of undergraduate, graduate students and postdoctoral associates. The courses include undergraduate class “Principles of Dose Optimization I (PHA 5127)”, and graduate class “Pharmaceutical Analysis I (PHA 6416)”.
