Since joining the University of Florida in 2006, Dr. DiSesa has held leadership roles supporting academic and clinical programs across the institution. She currently serves as Assistant Director of Marketing for the College of Pharmacy, where she supports enrollment marketing activities for Pharm.D., graduate, distance education and continuing education programs.

In her previous role with the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. DiSesa focused on clinical services growth and business development, overseeing marketing and outreach efforts for the UF Veterinary Hospitals.

Dr. DiSesa examines the development of communication and teamwork behaviors in healthcare professionals, focusing on adult learning and interprofessional education programs.

She works to expand access and opportunity in higher education by encouraging underrepresented minorities to consider careers in agriculture, specifically veterinary medicine.
