About Amber Connelly
Amber Connelly, Pharm.D., is a clinical lecturer in the department of pharmacotherapy and transitional research at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She practices as a clinical pharmacist at the Center for Quality Medication Management at UF. At CQM she serves patients, and works with residents and fourth year pharmacy students. Connelly also lectures within the pharmacy curriculum, including courses in medication therapy management and communication.
Connelly received her Pharm.D. from Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her PGY1 residency, which primarily focused on geriatric care, medication therapy management and academia at CQM at UF. Upon completing her residency, Connelly worked at CQM as a staff pharmacist primarily serving patients with mental health and emotional struggles. She also worked closely with the pharmacy residents and trained new staff pharmacists. Connelly is passionate about empowering her patients to take charge of their health and loves teaching and motivating others.
