Tyler Bui, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCCCP

Tyler Bui, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCCCP is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Education and Practice. Dr. Bui joined the University of Florida College of Pharmacy as a course facilitator in 2021, was appointed Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in August 2024, and transitioned to his current full-time Clinical Assistant Professor role in July 2025. He maintains a clinical practice in the medical intensive care unit at AdventHealth Celebration, a tertiary medical center in Celebration, Florida.

Dr. Bui graduated from the University of Florida with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2012 and completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Lakeland Regional Health. Prior to his full-time faculty appointment, he served as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the intensive care unit at AdventHealth Celebration, providing care in the medical, cardiovascular, and neurocritical care units.

Dr. Bui is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and critical care and is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP), and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). His professional and research interests include hemodynamic optimization in critical illness, acid-base and electrolyte disturbances, and insulin management in critically ill patients
