James Beach, MLA

James Beach joined the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy at the Orlando campus in 2019. He serves as the Program Director for Student Affairs in Orlando. Beach received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Liberal Arts from Winthrop University. Upon graduation, he spent time in student affairs areas including admissions, new student programming, student conduct and Title IX. Beach also holds a certification is Higher Education Law and Policy. Prior to coming to UF, he served as an assistant dean at Queens University of Charlotte.

Beach’s professional areas of interest include orientation and transitional programming, higher education law and policy, and student identity development. In his free time, Beach enjoys time with his husband and pug. He also enjoys time at Walt Disney World and watching football.
