Pathways to Pharmacy Careers

This day is meant to be full of great information, inspirational to our pharmacy students and valuable to employers.  We invite students to explore the myriad possibilities available in this great profession they have chosen.

Pathways

This event was designed to meet the needs of our students in terms of personal, professional, and career development.

To accomplish this, we have four mini meetings in the day – career pathways speakers, personal and professional development speakers, an exhibit hall, and employer interviews. We have invited speakers from various pharmacy practice settings to come and speak about their paths. This includes everything from clinical specialists to the pharmaceutical industry. Our development speakers will be talking about preparing for financial success, leadership, becoming a clinical scientist and the future of community practice.

We will have an exhibit area in which employers can introduce students to opportunities available within their organizations, the benefits of working there, and how students can become competitive for positions within their companies. Additionally, some companies will be holding interviews for jobs. This day is meant to be full of great information, inspirational to our pharmacy students and valuable to employers.  We invite students to explore the myriad of possibilities available in this great profession they have chosen.
