Dr. Wilt received her BS in Pharmacy (1989) and Pharm.D. (1992) degrees from the University of Florida. She completed a 2 year fellowship in Family Medicine/Ambulatory Care through the College of Pharmacy and College of Medicine at the University of Florida. Areas of focus included anticoagulation, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and women’s health. Upon completion of her fellowship, she accepted the position of AHEC Pharmacy Coordinator and Clinical Assistant Professor that was jointly sponsored between the College of Pharmacy and Department of Community Health and Family Medicine. She implemented clinical services in UF rural clinics, health departments, and other underserved healthcare facilities. She has participated in many collaborative care models and research activities. She has served as a preceptor for students on ambulatory care rotations. She is a past recipient of the Audrey McCann Woman Pharmacist of the Year Award. Dr. Wilt has experience practicing in many settings including community and hospital. Dr. Wilt currently works with the Office of Experiential Programs as a Regional Coordinator for the Gainesville Region. She also practices as a relief pharmacist at UF Health Vista. Dr. Wilt enjoys student development and providing patient centered care.
