Three University of Florida College of Pharmacy researchers were recently installed as endowed professors in the college.
An outpouring of generosity from alumni and friends of the College of Pharmacy helped to make this year’s Crisafi Challenge another huge success, as $55,000 was raised in support of student scholarships.
The state-of-the-art, interactive classroom connects pharmacy students in Jacksonville with their professors and peers in Gainesville and Orlando via video.
Thanks to the generosity of over 140 alumni and friends, and a $20,000 match from Dr. Bob, the College of Pharmacy raised $55,000 during the Crisafi Challenge. All the gifts will support student scholarships to attract the best and brightest pharmacy students to UF.
More than 300 alumni and friends of the College of Pharmacy attended the event.

Roger Accardi This award is presented each year to an alumnus who has made significant contributions to the pharmacy profession. Roger Accardi, Pharm.D., a third-generation pharmacist, graduated from the UF College of Pharmacy in 1968 with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. In 1999, he earned the Pharm.D. degree through the college’s Working Professional Pharm.D.
