Join the University of Florida College of Pharmacy as we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The theme of this year’s celebration is Celebrating Colors, Cultures and Customs.
Celebrating our Heritage
The University of Florida College of Pharmacy surveyed faculty, staff and students in our college about their Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage. More than 40 people responded with representation from 11 different countries.

Multicultural Munchies
Join us to celebrate the rich and diverse cuisine across Asia! Each campus has selected a country in Asia and will be serving delicious dishes from these regions. In addition to enjoying great food, there will be a presentation showcasing art, music, and culture from various parts of Asia and the Pacific Islands. Join us for an evening of fun and scrumptious food!

Health spotlight week

Dr. Van Hellerslia
Join us for a virtual presentation called "Overcoming Storms: An AAPI journey to well-being." Dr. Van Hellerslia will offer insight into addressing mental health in the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. She is an associate professor in the School of Pharmacy and an assistant professor in the School of Medicine at Temple University.
