Eight faculty members in the University of Florida College of Pharmacy were promoted on July 1. Earning a promotion represents a significant career milestone and recognizes one’s contributions to the college and broader academic community.
Among this year’s faculty promotions, Christopher McCurdy’s appointment as distinguished professor is especially noteworthy. As UF’s highest faculty honor, it recognizes his outstanding scholarly and leadership contributions, including his service as associate dean for faculty development and director of the UF Translational Drug Development Core.
