UF International Center honors six College of Pharmacy students

The University of Florida International Center has honored six students from the UF College of Pharmacy with Outstanding Merit Certificates, recognizing international students who excel academically and advance the university’s mission of teaching, research and service. Each year, colleges across campus nominate students for the recognition.

The graduate student recipients from the UF College of Pharmacy include:

  • Samantha Ali Ghandour, Department of Pharmaceutics
  • Nadine Alshakhshir, Department of Cellular and Systems Pharmacology
  • Satyavardhan Nittu, Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research
  • Vanisa Petriti, Department of Medicinal Chemistry
  • Yehua Wang, Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy

In addition, Mary-Pearl Ojukwu, a fourth-year student in the college’s Doctor of Pharmacy program, received the certificate.

All the awardees were honored at the 32nd Annual International Student Achievement Awards Ceremony on March 24.
