Pharmacists and student pharmacists from around the state convened at the Florida Capitol in Tallahassee on Jan. 27 for Legislative Days. Nearly 60 University of Florida College of Pharmacy faculty and students met with lawmakers, including pharmacists Shane Abbott, ’98, and Gallop Franklin, to gain firsthand insight into key pharmacy issues affecting Floridians. The annual event provides students with an opportunity to advocate for the pharmacy profession and offers a firsthand perspective of state government in action.
