Dr. Jatinder Lamba named associate editor of ASPET Discovery journal

The American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, or ASPET, has invited Jatinder Lamba, Ph.D., M.Sc., a professor in the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, to serve as an associate editor of the newly established ASPET Discovery journal.

Jatinder Lamba

Lamba is one of five new associate editors selected by the journal. The bi-monthly, open-access journal publishes a range of article types, including original research articles, minireviews and viewpoints that address all areas of pharmacology and experimental therapeutics. ASPET Discovery released its first volume earlier this year, led by the inaugural editor-in-chief, John D. Schuetz, Ph.D.

Lamba, who is also the associate dean for research and graduate education and the Frank A. Duckworth Eminent Scholar Chair in the UF College of Pharmacy and a member of the UF Health Cancer Institute, will serve a two-year term with the journal ending Dec. 31, 2028. ASPET is a scientific society of 4,000 members who conduct basic and clinical pharmacology research and work for academia, government, large pharmaceutical companies, small biotech companies and nonprofit organizations.
