Crisafi Challenge raises $115,000 to support future pharmacy students

Alumni and friends of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy once again rose to the challenge, helping the college meet its $50,000 fundraising goal during the 11th annual Crisafi Challenge. Their generosity unlocked an additional $50,000 gift through a legacy estate gift from Robert Crisafi, Ph.D., ’56, doubling the impact for future pharmacy students.

In total, the 2025 Crisafi Challenge raised more than $115,000 from 142 donors. All the funds will support scholarships for Pharm.D. students entering the college in fall 2026.

Since its founding in 2015, the Crisafi Challenge has generated over $1.3 million for pharmacy student scholarships. This year’s campaign held special meaning as it was the first challenge since the passing of founder Robert Crisafi. The Crisafi family continued to honor his legacy through their dedication, engagement and ongoing support of the challenge, and the scholarship recipients who meant so much to him. He was also honored by the UF College of Pharmacy as one of the 2025 Alumni & Friends Award winners.

For the third straight year, the Dean’s Leadership Council achieved 100% participation, while faculty and staff gifts were matched by the college — adding another $8,170 to the total.

The UF College of Pharmacy extends sincere thanks to all who contributed to this year’s Crisafi Challenge.
