In the fall of 2023, 54 student pharmacists participated in recruitment, which resulted in the initiation of 23 new members. The chapter hosted a strong series of both on-campus and off-campus events, which not only supported member engagement but also built connections with the surrounding community.

The Kappa chapter was also recognized for “Best Participation” during the KE Week of Service. Each year, one week in February is selected to focus on community service and the national project: breast and ovarian cancer awareness.

According to Alison Sieber, president of the Gainesville campus KE Kappa chapter, this recognition highlights the chapter’s dedication to embodying the mission and values of KE while continuing to grow its presence at UF.
