Luong has been an active member of the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists at UF and is chair of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Pharmacy Student Forum Advisory Group on Career & Leadership Development. As an FSHP board member, she will support chapter engagement, spotlight student initiatives and promote leadership and advocacy, among many other activities.

“I am passionate about building stronger connections between FSHP and student pharmacists,” Luong said. “Many students want to get involved but are not sure how, and I hope to make those opportunities more visible and accessible.”

Each pharmacy college in Florida may nominate a student to apply for a board position. FSHP’s Executive Committee selects the student director after reviewing applications and conducting interviews with the candidates.
