Dr. Lindsey Childs-Kean named FSHP fellow

Lindsey Childs-Kean, Pharm.D., M.P.H., BCPS, has been named a 2025 fellow by the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists, or FSHP, acknowledging her contributions to the organization as well as pharmacy education and practice. She was recognized during the House of Delegates session at the FSHP Annual Meeting in Orlando on Aug. 7.

Dr. Lindsey Childs-Kean

Childs-Kean is a clinical associate professor of pharmacy and education and practice in the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. A member of FSHP for more than 15 years, she has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including on the Board of Directors and as chair of the Member Affairs Council and the Professional Affairs Council. In recent years, she has advocated for the organization to expand its awards program, creating new opportunities for members to showcase their work and early-career pharmacists to get involved.

“We have so many outstanding leaders in FSHP, and I am truly honored to be among them as an FSHP fellow,” Childs-Kean said. “I am thankful for the many opportunities to serve the profession through FSHP, in my clinical role and by teaching student pharmacists. I appreciate the FSHP Foundation for recognizing my efforts.”

FSHP awards fellow status to pharmacists who demonstrate exceptional practice in health-system pharmacy and have made lasting, meaningful contributions to the organization and the profession. Fellowship is a lifetime honor, maintained through active FSHP membership. Earlier this year, Childs-Kean earned fellow status with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, joining a distinguished group of 23 pharmacy professionals who have been honored.
