Janel Soucie, Pharm.D., an instructional associate professor and Orlando regional coordinator for the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Office of Experiential Programs, has been named a University-Level Superior Accomplishment Award winner. She was honored at a ceremony on April 3 at Reitz Union in Gainesville, joining an elite group of 20 recipients selected from nearly 200 eligible division winners across the university.

Soucie was the only faculty member to receive a university-level award in the Individual Employee Award category. One of her nominators described her impact best: “Janel consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the success of our student program. She is an incredible asset to the UF College of Pharmacy and all the preceptors she supports.”
The Superior Accomplishment Award program recognizes faculty and staff for their dedication to their jobs and for going above and beyond to advance the mission of UF and serve the community at large. Winners of the university-level awards receive either a $1,000 or $2,000 prize.
