On Oct. 27, the University of Florida College of Pharmacy hosted its annual Pathways to Pharmacy Careers showcase. Students from all three campuses traveled to the Hilton UF Conference Center hotel in Gainesville for the opportunity to attend live sessions with several speakers across various pharmacy disciplines, including clinical subspecialties and the pharmaceutical industry. Students also had the opportunity to network with corporations such as CVS, Publix, Walgreens and Walmart throughout the day.
In addition to the live sessions, students were given the chance to schedule prospective interviews with the companies listed above. After the day-long event, the college hosted its annual Etiquette Dinner where students gained hands-on experience in making positive impressions in formal social situations.
