Dr. Lindsey Childs-Kean named associate editor of the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education

Lindsey Childs-Kean, Pharm.D., M.P.H., BCPS, a clinical associate professor in the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, has been named an associate editor of the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education. The journal was first published in 1937 and is the official publication of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, or AACP. Its purpose is to document and advance pharmaceutical education in the U.S. and internationally.

Lindsey Childs-KeanAs an associate editor, Childs-Kean will be responsible for soliciting manuscripts on teaching and the scholarship of teaching and learning. She will coordinate the manuscript review process and make decisions regarding acceptance for publication. The role will require participating in editorial meetings and representation at the AACP Annual Meeting.

Childs-Kean will be one of six pharmacy educators on the journal’s editorial team. She will serve a three-year term with an option for reappointment. Childs-Kean has previously served on the AJPE Editorial Advisory Board since 2021 and has published seven articles in AJPE to date.
