Christie Priddy has been named as the new senior director of development and alumni affairs in the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She will begin her new role in late April leading the college’s fundraising and alumni affairs office.
Priddy joins UF from the University of Kentucky College of Engineering, where she served as director of philanthropy. In her three-and-a-half years at UK, she supported fundraising efforts for the university’s $2.1 billion comprehensive campaign.  She also created and implemented the college’s first Young Alumni Philanthropy Council. Before joining UK, she worked in fundraising at Children’s National in Washington, D.C. and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
As a native of West Palm Beach, Priddy has lived most of her life in the Sunshine State. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UF in 2015 and will graduate in May with a master’s in business administration from UK.
Priddy takes over for Elizabeth Zipper, who transitioned into a new leadership role with UF Health in December.
