Ronald Levinson and Njeri Foster elected as APhA-ASP regional officers

University of Florida College of Pharmacy students Ronald Levinson and Njeri Foster were elected as Region 3 officers of the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists, or APhA-ASP. Levinson is a third-year pharmacy student and was elected as a Regional Delegate, while Foster is a second-year student and was chosen as a Member-at-Large. The elections took place during the virtual APhA-ASP Midyear Region 3 Meeting on Nov. 1-4.

As the Regional Delegate, Levinson aims to improve communication between chapters and encourage joint policy meetings and forums. He has served as policy vice president and on the policy and advocacy committee for UF’s APhA-ASP chapter.

Foster’s goals as a Member-at-Large include increasing communication and connection among chapter members as well as educating and empowering student pharmacists. She has served the UF APhA-ASP chapter as the Operation Heart Chair and an alternate chapter delegate.
