Crisafi Challenge raises $123,000 for incoming student scholarships

Another successful year of the Crisafi Challenge has yielded $123,000 in student scholarships for the incoming class in fall 2022. Alumni and friends of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy stepped up during the 10-day challenge in October to raise $73,000. Bob Crisafi, Ph.D., ’56, matched all the gifts up to $50,000, which helped push the fundraising total over $100,000 for the fifth year in a row.

Dr. Bob created the challenge in 2015 to help the UF College of Pharmacy recruit the best and brightest students from across the nation. In seven years, the challenge has raised $688,000 for student scholarships and helped to elevate the college’s national profile. Every dollar given during the challenge is provided as scholarships to entering Pharm.D. students.
