Four faculty members in the UF College of Pharmacy have been appointed as UF Term Professors in recognition for their outstanding achievements. The three-year professorship begins during the 2019-20 academic year. The newly named UF Term Professors include:
- Jane Aldrich, Ph.D., a professor of medicinal chemistry
- Guenther Hochhaus, Ph.D., a professor of pharmaceutics
- Charles Peloquin, Pharm.D., a professor of pharmacotherapy and translational research
- Jay McLaughlin, Ph.D., an associate professor of pharmacodynamics
The UF Term Professorship program was created by the provost as a way to reward the outstanding contributions of UF tenure track faculty members with five or more years of service at UF. Awardees are selected based on their scholarly achievements, national awards and contributions to their college.
