ASHP groups 2018Fourth-year University of Florida College of Pharmacy students Ashlan Kunz Coyne, Celia Curtis and Christine Tabulov have been appointed to American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, or ASHP, student advisory groups.

The ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum has six advisory groups that provide advice and guidance to the forum regarding the unique needs of student members and how these needs might be addressed by the provision of resources and programs by ASHP. Each advisory group is made up of 15 student pharmacists from universities across the United States.

  • Curtis, a student at the Gainesville campus, is a member of the Advancement of Pharmacy Practice Advisory Group. The group serves to advise ASHP regarding the development and support of programs designed to educate students regarding initiatives, such as PAI, to advance the practice of pharmacy.
  • Tabulov, also a student at the Gainesville campus, is a member of the Career Development and Education Advisory Group. The Career Development and Education Advisory Group serves to advise ASHP regarding the content, development and evaluation of student-relevant education, events and programs.
