Four UF College of Pharmacy faculty named UF Term Professors

Four faculty in the UF College of Pharmacy, with nearly seven decades combined years of service at UF, have been appointed as UF Term Professors for the 2019-21 academic years. The newly named UF Term Professors include:
UF Term Professors 2018

  • Larisa Cavallari, Pharm.D., an associate professor in pharmacotherapy and translational research and director of the Center for Pharmacogenomics
  • Margaret James, Ph.D., a professor of medicinal chemistry and the Jack C. Massey Professor of Pharmacy
  • Jatinder Lamba, Ph.D., M.Sc., an associate professor of pharmacotherapy and translational research
  • Almut Winterstein, Ph.D., a professor and the Dr. Robert and Barbara Crisafi Chair of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy

Cavallari, James, Lamba and Winterstein will serve three-year terms and receive a $5,000 salary supplement each year of their appointment. The UF Term Professorship program was created by the provost as a way to reward the outstanding contributions of UF tenure track faculty members with five or more years of service at UF. Awardees are selected based on their scholarly achievements, national awards and contributions to their college.
