An evening celebrating multiculturalism through dinner, performances and a silent auction highlighted the 16th annual Global Gala hosted by the College of Pharmacy’s APhA-ASP International Pharmaceutical Students Federation on Feb. 11. Nearly 150 people attended the charity event held at the Harrell Medical Education Building and more than $7,000 was raised to support the purchase of medical supplies for upcoming global health outreach mission trips. The student-led trips provide medication and health services to underserved communities in Central and South America. Publix Super Markets Charities served as the title sponsor of Global Gala.
