St. Petersburg students take home honors at Kappa Epsilon convention
The Alpha Omega chapter at the College of Pharmacy’s St. Petersburg campus received an honorable mention award for its Pharm-CORP National Project at the Kappa Epsilon National Convention. Pharm-CORP, or Pharmacy Career Opportunity Recruitment Project, was designed to educate high school students about pharmacy school and the pharmacy profession. The Kappa Epsilon awards committee recognized the strength of the Alpha Omega chapter’s work with Pharm-CORP and the outstanding effort demonstrated by students attending a distance campus. More than 20 collegiate members, along with two advisors and eight alumni from all four of the College of Pharmacy’s campuses, attended Kappa Epsilon Fraternity’s 50th National Convention held in Orlando.
