Compassionate Medical Cannabis Act of 2014

The Act authorizes specific physicians to order low-THC cannabis for use by specific patients. Once the low-THC cannabis has been ordered, a responsibility of the ordering physician is to maintain a treatment plan and to submit it quarterly to the University of Florida College of Pharmacy for research on the safety and effectiveness of low-THC cannabis on patients with symptoms that resulted in the ordering of the product.
