Biographical Sketch

Dr. Hardin is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Center in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida in 2005 and is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Specialist. After graduation, she enjoyed serving her community as a Pharmacy Manager for Publix Pharmacy and was proud to be one of the pharmacy’s first immunizing pharmacists. In 2010, Dr. Hardin became one of the founding faculty of the UF Medication Therapy Management Center and continues to contribute to the growth and innovation currently occurring at the center. The center provides MTM services to Medicare, Medicaid, and privately insured patients including comprehensive medication reviews (CMR), medication reconciliations, physician consultations, and member follow ups. Other services include performance measure initiatives (including adherence, high risk meds, CMS and HEDIS measures, etc), provider outreach, and transition of care medication review/reconciliation services. Working with students and mentoring others have always been Dr. Hardin’s passions. She serves as the MTM Residency Director at the UF MTM Center, where she also precepts student pharmacists during their MTM APPE clerkships at the center. In addition to her clinical activities and teaching at the UF MTM Center, Dr. Hardin teaches MTM and Pharmacy Practice Management within the PharmD and MTM Master’s Degree curriculums.  She also serves the pharmacy profession by being active in local and national pharmacy organizations and is the past President for the Alachua County Association of Pharmacists.
