Biographical Sketch

Dr. Dietrich is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research. His work involves providing aid in discharge planning and transitional care management, including making post-discharge follow-up home calls. He also manages an Anticoagulation Clinic at UF Health Internal Medicine at Tower Hill monitoring warfarin as well as DOACs. Dr. Dietrich’s research interests include interventions aimed at reducing hospital readmission rates as well as pharmacy billing and reimbursement for clinical services. Dr. Dietrich’s wife, Nicole, is a Critical Care pharmacist at the VA.
