Admissions
The Office for Student Affairs has oversight of application and admission processing for the Entry-Level PharmD program and the Working Professional PharmD program. The Senior Associate Dean for Professional Affairs chairs the Admissions Committee and supervises the support staff. The centralized application service, PharmCAS, is utilized to process electronic applications.
The Admissions Committee is composed of faculty, pharmacy practitioners and pharmacy students from all four of the campuses of the UF College of Pharmacy: Gainesville, Jacksonville, Orlando, and St. Petersburg. Presently, the Admissions Committee evaluates completed applications and conducts interviews for 300 available positions each year for the Entry-Level PharmD program. Applications to the Working Professional PharmD program are evaluated each semester by the Admissions Committee.
