Application Procedures Ph.D. and M.S. Programs

Please follow these steps to apply to the Ph.D. and M.S. programs in the College of Pharmacy

We strongly recommend that students complete the application process by December 1 to be considered for scholarships and fellowship awards.

Review of applications for the Fall term will begin in December. The College of Pharmacy will conduct on-site interviews starting in February.

Step 1

Apply online at the University of Florida admissions website

  • Choose Graduate section to apply

Step 2

Read and follow the application procedures outlined by the UF Graduate School:

In order for your application to be successfully processed, you MUST:

  • Indicate you are applying for the Ph.D. or M.S. program (Note: residential M.S. applications are not accepted in some departments, so check each department’s information carefully)
  • Select the appropriate concentration in the college
  • Indicate the semester you are applying (Note: many departments ONLY accept applications for a fall matriculation)
  • Things you will need:
    • CV or resume
    • Biographical sketch, including a statement of intent that explains how your prior experiences and academic background have prepared you for graduate study, how you interests overlap with those of the department and your future goals (limit to 1-2 pages)
    • UF application fee
