Gator pharmacists make a splash at APhA-ASP midyear regional meeting

Gator student pharmacists made a splash at the American Pharmacist Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists, or APhA-ASP, Midyear Regional Meeting in Charleston, South Carolina, Nov. 3–5. They brought home Region 3 awards for Operations Diabetes and GenerationRx.

Additionally, three students received member recognition awards: Michael Finnick, a third-year student at the Jacksonville campus, Ian Floresta, a second-year student at the Gainesville campus and Kevin Martin, a fourth-year student at the Orlando Campus.

With 75 UF College of Pharmacy students from all four campuses, the university had a sizable footprint among the conference’s 650 attendees from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Puerto Rico.
