Orlando KE chapter named top national chapter for 2016-17

KE National Convention 2017 Award photoThe Beta Beta Chapter of the Kappa Epsilon, or KE, Professional Pharmacy Fraternity at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy’s Orlando campus received the national Outstanding Chapter Award for 2016-17. Presented at the Kappa Epsilon National Convention in New Orleans, the award recognizes overall excellence among the 45 chapters of Kappa Epsilon nationally. The Orlando KE chapter also earned honorable mention honors for its Bright Pink fundraising efforts, and Erin St. Onge, Pharm.D., a clinical associate professor and assistant dean of the Orlando campus, received honorable mention recognition as an outstanding KE advisor. The Orlando KE chapter includes 68 student members and hosts several events, service opportunities and fundraisers throughout the year to support the fraternity’s national projects that include breast and ovarian cancer awareness.
