On behalf of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Jacksonville campus, we invite you to attend the 15th annual Student Organization Annual Retreat (SOAR)! This event is sponsored by Target®, and is exclusively for the University of Florida College of Pharmacy students, faculty, and staff.

SOAR 2016 has four primary goals:

  • To enhance and further develop leadership skills in our students, which will assist them with effectively leading their organizations.
  • To foster better communication between the student leaders and organizations at our four campuses.
  • To increase awareness of the university policies that impact student organizations.
  • To have a great time!

Cost

This event is free to attend, including all events and meals. Special thanks to Target® for their generous sponsorship! Unfortunately, there are no funds available for travel or hotel reimbursements.

Rooms are available at the Jacksonville Marriott, which is conveniently located within walking distance of Dave & Buster’s.  Rooms are available at a discounted rate of $89/ night and can accommodate up to 4 people. Please call the number above to make your reservation and be sure to mention the UF College of Pharmacy SOAR group in order to receive the discount. Reservations must be made by Friday, December 11th to receive the discounted rate.

In addition, several Jacksonville students will open up their homes to the visiting students as lodging options for Friday and/or Saturday night. If you are interested in staying with a Jacksonville campus student, please email Liz Shald at eshald@ufl.edu.
